Be an unsung hero...

It truly does not take much to be a hero. You can change a day or even a life direction for another just by extending yourself. A stranger may need nothing more than a smile to lift them up-you can do that, spare a simple smile. Share a thought of wisdom or personal advice and offer someone another side to consider. Share the flowers from the garden growing within you and hand someone a bouquet of happiness. Listen to another even when there is nothing you can say for lending an ear is often what is wanted.
You may know many of the lives you can be a hero for but never be afraid to touch the life of all you can for that life will touch us back. We get immediate rewards for our efforts and kindnessess  and for those we touch that we do not know then we have become thier Unsung hero...

Stop!-Go!-Run!...

Just like the laws of gravity there are laws to apply in life-your life. As people we tend to either over analyze or we just leap without looking. We take chances without considering both sides of the coin of consequences. STOP! It is time top pause and reflect, to gather our breath, and to open our eyes. It is time to reconnect with the person that you know you are.
Once one has figured thier path and formed a plan to travel it and has prepared for ALL that awaits then GO!. Take your baby steps to begin your journey toward your goals, walk before you run. Gather your tools and procceed with all caution. If you can visualize it then you can make it real.
The time will come when the dream is in sight for you have traveled diligently, persistently, and with great passion. When your rainbow appears within your clear vision then RUN! Take off in a mighty stride without looking back and seize your pot of gold. We will encounter a little less obstruction if we know when to Go, when to Stop, and when to Run...

Watch what you say...

Words are powerfull and penetrating.  Words can be demanding and strong and yet they can be giving and kind. What we use our words for can determine so much-and there are words that we should try not to use in most cases. We must take caution before letting our mouths beat our brains to the punch and saying those things we did not really mean.
As I said, when sharing what we say we should try to avoid saying the words: always, never, everytime; these are kind of damning words for often times thier meaning doesn't apply. I mean I personally can't think of many situations when something never or always happens or when everytime something is always the same. Through the faded lens of these words we will so often be sorry we spoke them, especially to someone we love. These are words that can stem from anger and words of anger fly without direction. Try to let your mind speak before your tongue. Words can be as beautiful and maginificent as wild horses but once set free it is impossible to get them back so Watch what you say...

The Mind Bender...

The Mindbender actually comes from the name of a roller coaster in Six Flags over Georgia but oh my how it can be applied to us. Life is indeed a ride, it is a roller coaster that will knock your tempest spinning about. It can shake the axis your life sits upon and throw your direction to the four winds. It can rack us to our bones and make us ache with the jerks of the powerful twist. We begin right side up and after clearing one hill we can find ourselves upside down.
The trick is to hold on tightly to all of the good you can grasp and allow persistence to prevail over defeat. The twists and turns of life are simply corners we must round, and meet head forth that which awaits ahead- something is always lurking ahead. We are built stronger than we think and when we find ourselves upside down perhaps we are meant to see things from another angle. Life is a wild and fast ride; a true mindbender...

Here we go again...

How many times have we stopped long enough to realize that "Here I go again?" Some things in life have this tendency of rolling back around and if we didn't learn anything the first time then chances are we will travel right back down the same path. We will travel down that path that never took us anywhere. We will waste more time and energy.
Now, is this really what we want to do with this lot of precious time we have been given here? Well, I know I do not and I hope you have better plans as well. Look for the signals in life-those which tell us to move forward and those which tell us to pause. We don't want to keep revisiting the old mistakes and we certainly do not want to repeat them. This is why the signals are important for they will help lead us to new paths, new places, and new experiences; the right way. Search cautiously and diligently for your chosen roads so that you do not find yourself saying " Here I go again..."

What really is Life? ...

Let us answer this question for I do have my own thoughts that I believe to be true.

Life is hard; it is a job. It is a job that we must attend everyday and it does not operate by hours worked nor does it offer days off; it is a job from sunrise to sunset. Life surrounds every breath we take. It is a job that we must take seriously in order to climb the ladder of better improving who we are.
Life is also funny, in a very serious kind of way life is funny. If we let it then it can be the prankster of our dreams and the joker of our hope. It will mock us and laugh at us at times when we fail while at the same time it provides us with the tools to get back up and try again. It does indeed cut both ways.
But above all things life is also kind and generous. It is an endless pool of so much to offer. Some things we may never know and that is okay because life will fill us like a sponge. It is indeed beauty and wonder, magical and mystical.
It is all of this and so much more-its story travels along each day. Just considering these few things is what I feel Life really is...

A day of success...

The following is my idea of a simple day but yet a grand day of success. I had a wonderful day yesterday, for one thing I spent it above ground. It was a blue sky full of lazy flowing clouds and there lingered a promise of cold in the air. It is cozy to feel wrapped and welcomed into natures ever-changing arms. This was a day of quality time that I spent sharing with someone I love and who is very dear to me. This day was filled with laughter and big smiles and long talks and short chats. It was a day when being together was enough...it was more than enough and for that period of time all was right with the world.
I spent a little time before my escapade working on my next book which is doing what I love doing and that love is important to the freedom of our very soul. You must give your soul room to roam, room to expand, room to explore, and room to absorb the lessons we learn each day. Remember: your soul does not operate because of you but rather you operate because of it. The soul must breathe just as our lungs do in order to thrive. We have to tend to our inner self garden by planting flowers or memories or whatever moves both you and your loved company. This way you have left the day, perhaps, better than you found it and that is just one fine way and a pleasant note to wrap up any day with...contentment.
It is a simple enough thing to accomplish on the one hand and sometimes a bumpy trail on the other. We, however, know our way around the circle of those that are the core of our happiness just as we do the hallways of our home, we stroll through confidently and comfortably. I accomplished what I set out to do and what a time it was to be blessed in spending such quality time with such quality folks. We brightened one another's day and added another page to our memory's album entitled: "Days of almost too much perfection." One needn't ask for more to consider that a day of pure, fulfilling, and rewarding success...
